New YouTube Views - Francophone Crypto Channels
Monthly new views gained across our curated panel of Francophone crypto creators, stacked by channel. Wave amplitude shows how the total monthly views varied across the panel; the chart does not attribute a cause to those variations.
What is it?
Same construction as the Anglophone views stack, applied to our curated Francophone panel. The panel is smaller (about 27 channels against about 63 Anglophone), so absolute stack heights sit on their own scale; each month is the sum of the panel's new views for that month.
How to read
Stack height = total new views across all Francophone channels for that month. The BTC overlay on the right axis (logarithmic) shows the BTC price on the same dates. Compare month by month with narrative-yt-stacked-views-en: the comparison shows whether the largest months of the two panels fall on the same dates. No delay between the two panels is computed. The latest point (current month) shows the trailing 30-day total, refreshed daily; closed months remain exact calendar totals.
Key zones
• The panel covers about 27 Francophone channels against about 63 Anglophone channels, so absolute heights are lower and are read on their own scale • A month's height is the sum of the panel's new views for that month: SocialBlade history before the live cutoff, daily deltas summed after it • A single channel can carry a large part of a month on its own • The last point is a 30-day trailing total and is not comparable to a closed calendar month • No delay after BTC price moves is measured here
What to observe
• Which channel contributes the largest share of the stack in a given month • Whether the same channel stays the largest over consecutive months or the composition changes • Months where a single channel moves the total on its own • The difference between the last point, a 30-day trailing total, and the preceding closed months
Historical context
Coverage starts in 2023. Monthly values before the live cutoff come from the frozen SocialBlade history; later months are summed from daily channel statistics, and the current month is a 30-day trailing total. The months with the largest stack heights since coverage began are visible on the chart; the calculation attributes them to no event.
Expert notes
Curated Francophone channel panel. View deltas mix long-form videos and Shorts; this series does not split the two formats. Planned work: separate the long-form and Shorts streams. Known data caveats (SocialBlade source) : occasional monthly outliers can appear for small channels with sudden Shorts virality. Example : Charlie Seddine (166K subs) reported ~15M views in March 2026 - a ~60× outlier vs his typical monthly. We display the raw SocialBlade numbers ; a single-channel spike is read together with the channel's subscriber growth over the same month.
Common mistakes to avoid
One channel dominating a month = a movement across the panel ❌. A single channel can carry a month's total on its own; the stack then describes that channel's views. Read the composition of the stack before its height, and do not extend one month to the months that follow.
