What is it?
Each colored slice represents one creator from our curated panel of Anglophone crypto channels. The vertical thickness of a slice on a given month = the new views that creator's videos accumulated that month. The total stack height = aggregate new views across the panel. Negative deltas (videos pulled / made private) are clamped to zero.
How to read
Stack height (left Y-axis) = total new views across all channels for that month. Per-channel slice thickness = that creator's monthly view delta. The white/dark BTC price line on the right axis (logarithmic) provides cycle context. Compare wave peaks to price tops : views typically lead by 2-6 weeks during euphoria phases.
Key zones
Wave amplitude correlates with mainstream attention. Bull-market peaks typically push the stack to 5-10x the bear-market baseline. A sustained low (< 30% of peak) for ≥9 months is consistent with deep accumulation. Rapid amplitude expansion (≥3x in one month) historically aligns with cycle top warnings.
What to observe
Track which channels dominate the views stack vs the subscribers stack. A view-heavy / sub-light pattern (lots of views, few subscribers) = content going viral with mainstream non-followers. A sub-heavy / view-light pattern = loyal audience watching less = community fatigue.
Historical context
Coverage starts in 2023. The 2023 bear bottom shows a flat baseline, the Q1 2024 spot ETF approval triggers the first amplitude expansion, and the late-2024 / early-2025 phase produces the largest stack heights observed since coverage began.

Beware short-form / Shorts views inflating recent monthly deltas — we don't currently split short-form vs long-form ; the comparable 2023 baseline already includes Shorts. Known data caveats (SocialBlade source) : single-channel viral months can produce outliers. Example : Real Vision Finance (92K subs) reported ~51.7M views in January 2025 — likely a Druckenmiller / Tucker Carlson interview going viral. We display raw SocialBlade numbers ; user should treat sudden single-channel spikes as anecdotal until confirmed by subscriber growth.
Common mistakes to avoid
View peak = bear-market end ❌. The view peak typically aligns with the late-bull / euphoria phase, not the bear-market floor. The bottom is indicated by sustained low stacks, not by view-stack peaks.
