How to read
Stack height = total new subscribers across all Francophone channels for that month. The BTC overlay on the right axis (logarithmic) provides cycle context. Compare the timing and amplitude of stack peaks against the Anglophone equivalent (narrative-yt-stacked-subscribers-en) to detect regional flow.
Key zones
The Francophone panel is smaller (~27 channels vs ~63 Anglophone), so absolute amplitude is lower — focus on relative shape, not absolute totals. A typical Francophone bull-market peak is ~3-5x the bear-market baseline.
What to observe
Watch the Francophone vs Anglophone phase lag : if the Francophone stack rises before the Anglophone one, this can indicate early-cycle inflow from non-English markets ; the opposite suggests late-cycle FOMO catching up to Francophone audiences.
