MCP setup guides per client

Trinity Insights MCP is exposed over Streamable HTTP with Bearer authentication. Any compatible client can connect - this page lists the step-by-step guides for the eight most commonly used clients.

Universal prerequisites

  • An active Trinity Insights account with a tier that includes MCP access (Founding or above).
  • An MCP API key generated from the dashboard (Settings → API Keys MCP), dedicated per client to make targeted revocation easier.
  • A client that supports the Streamable HTTP MCP transport (the 2025-11-25 protocol version is used server-side).
