Top 90 Retail Channels by Lifetime Views (YouTube)
Snapshot ranking of the 90 most-watched crypto YouTube channels by cumulative views. Captures concentration of retail attention across creators. Daily snapshots accumulate to enable a time-series stacked view as history builds.
What is it?
Crypto YouTube is where retail goes to learn, FOMO, and panic. This chart aggregates total daily views across 90 crypto channels (Coin Bureau, Anthony Pompliano, Bitboy, Altcoin Daily, etc.) sourced from YouTube. Stacked-area-by-entity rendering shows each channel's contribution. Total stack height = mainstream FOMO intensity. Channel-mix shifts = narrative rotation (e.g., DeFi channels rising vs. price-prediction channels).
How to read
Stacked area, 90 entities. Each colored band = one channel's daily views. Total height = aggregate retail YouTube attention. Spikes during major price moves = retail FOMO sessions. Sustained high stack during sideways price = unusual mainstream attention without confirmation, often precedes top. Stack collapse to bear baseline = retail dormancy phase.
Key zones
Bear baseline : 5-20M daily total views across the 90 channels. Bull mid-cycle : 50-150M daily. Late-cycle FOMO : > 250M daily (parabolic). Spike > 400M in single day = euphoria peak, historically marks tops or top-adjacent windows.
What to observe
Watch the SHAPE of the stack over time : during accumulation phases, the stack is flat and broadly distributed (no single channel dominates). During FOMO peaks, the stack expands AND becomes concentrated (top 3-5 channels capture 60%+ of views). Stack expansion without concentration = healthy growth. Concentration spike = euphoria warning.
Historical context
May 2021 saw aggregate views spike to ~520M in a single peak day (Bitcoin all-time-high era), with Coin Bureau and Bitboy each pulling 15M+ daily. The November 2022 FTX week pulled ~280M aggregate daily as retail panic-watched. The current 2024-2025 wave has aggregate baselines higher than 2021 mid-cycle, indicating broader retail base.
Expert notes
The 90-channel basket is a Trinity curation snapshot — channel landscapes evolve (some die, new ones rise). Future Trinity iterations should rotate the basket annually based on top-50 YouTube channel rankings. YouTube data provides daily granularity post-2022 ; pre-2022 data is monthly. The chart auto-switches granularity based on date range.
Common mistakes to avoid
Higher views = price going up ❌. YouTube views are CONFIRMATION of mainstream attention, not directional. Bear-market panic content (FTX week) can produce just as much viewership as bull-FOMO content. Always pair with price context AND with sentiment scoring (next-generation Trinity sub-agent).
