Perplexity Spaces

Set up Trinity Insights MCP in Perplexity Spaces (Pro) with MCP connectors.

// 3. Enable in the Space : Trinity Insights appears in the tools list

Replace YOUR_TRINITY_API_KEY with the API key you will generate in the next step.

Setup steps

  1. Check Perplexity Pro eligibility
    MCP connectors require Perplexity Pro. Subscribe on perplexity.ai if needed.
  2. Retrieve your Trinity API key
    Dashboard → Settings → API Keys MCP. Create a key dedicated to Perplexity.
  3. Create a dedicated Space
    Perplexity → Spaces → Create New Space. Give it a thematic name (e.g. Bitcoin Macro Research).
  4. Add the MCP connector
    In the Space, go to Settings → Connectors → Add Custom MCP. Provide Name (Trinity Insights), Endpoint, and Auth header.
  5. Test via a query in the Space
    In the activated Space, ask: "Give me a Trinity macro briefing." Perplexity will call the trinity-macro-briefing prompt.

Notes

  • Perplexity Spaces let you combine multiple connectors (Trinity + arXiv + GitHub) within a single research context.
  • Perplexity citations automatically credit Trinity Insights as a source.
