Mining PulseTRINITY EXCLUSIVE
A Trinity-exclusive composite health reading for the Bitcoin mining network, scored 0-100. It blends network capacity momentum, relative miner profitability and blockspace fee demand into one gauge of miner stress versus health.
Trinity exclusive model
This metric is a proprietary Trinity Insights model. Its formula, inputs, weights and parameters are NOT disclosed. The page documents only the output (bounded scale, interpretation zones, historical context). Access to the score and its time series is via the REST API and the MCP server, subject to the required tier.
What is it?
Mining Pulse is a proprietary Trinity composite model that synthesises the overall health of the Bitcoin mining network into a single gauge bounded between 0 and 100. It aggregates several structural mining dynamics (network capacity momentum, miner profitability conditions, demand for block space) into one reading meant to situate the sector between stress and robustness. The exact weighting and components are proprietary and not disclosed.
How to read
Read the gauge on its 0-100 scale and its position within the three coloured zones. A low score reflects mining-sector stress (compressed profitability, possible capitulation); a mid score reflects balance; a high score reflects robust, expansionary mining conditions. The trajectory (slope) matters as much as the level: a climb from the low zone has historically accompanied network recovery phases.
Key zones
Three zones frame the reading: 0-30 (mining stress / capitulation) shaded red, 30-70 (balance) neutral, 70-100 (robustness / expansion) shaded green. The extreme zones are calibrated against historical states of network capitulation and expansion.
What to observe
Watch entries into and exits from the extreme zones and their duration. A prolonged stay in the low zone reflects structural mining stress; a switch toward the high zone reflects improving conditions. Divergences between Mining Pulse and price deserve attention.
Historical context
Major mining capitulation phases (the 2021 China mining ban, the late-2022 bear market) coincided with incursions into the low zone, while expansion phases accompanying cycle tops pushed the gauge toward the high zone. Halving markers help situate these phases within the issuance cycle.
Expert notes
⚠️ Trinity Exclusive Model - Mining Pulse is a proprietary composite whose formula, precise components and weights are not disclosed. Only the result (0-100 score) and its zone-based interpretation are accessible. Like any composite, its variance is amplified relative to its underlying components; it reads as a complement to, not a replacement for, individual mining metrics.
Common mistakes to avoid
Mining Pulse is not a price forecast or a recommendation: it is an aggregate reading of mining-network state. A low score does not guarantee a bottom, nor a high score a top - extremes can persist. Do not attempt to reconstruct the formula from individual mining metrics: the value lies in the proprietary aggregation.
