TNH — Narrative Heatmap (4 Themes)TRINITY EXCLUSIVE
Trinity-exclusive cross-narrative heatmap tracking four dominant crypto themes (DeFi, NFT, Memecoin, Solana ecosystem) across multiple attention sources. Each narrative converges around neutral when it is out of focus, and rises above neutral when retail, search interest, and developer activity converge on the theme simultaneously.
Trinity exclusive model
This metric is a proprietary Trinity Insights model. Its formula, inputs, weights and parameters are NOT disclosed. The page documents only the output (bounded scale, interpretation zones, historical context). Access to the score and its time series is via the REST API and the MCP server, subject to the required tier.
What is it?
TNH renders four distinct crypto narratives as four comparable lines on a unified institutional 0-100 scale. For each narrative the composite aggregates encyclopedic pageviews (mainstream curiosity), search interest (retail attention), and open-source code adoption (builder endorsement) — using only the layers backfilled for that specific narrative. Each line answers the question 'how focused is the market on this theme right now relative to its multi-year baseline?'. Comparing the four lines reveals which themes are gaining mindshare and which are receding.
How to read
Each line is calibrated on the same ISM PMI 0-100 scale around a 50 neutral. Lines hovering near 50 indicate narratives operating at their multi-year baseline. Lines rising above 60 indicate narratives gaining outsized attention. Lines falling below 40 indicate narratives losing mindshare. The colors encode which theme is which (legend below the chart). Use horizontal banding (zones at 30-40, 40-60, 60-70) as common reference for all four narratives.
Key zones
Overheated band (60-70, red) flags narratives in peak focus — historically rare and usually short-lived for any single theme. Neutral band (40-60, yellow) is the typical operating range. Depressed band (30-40, green) flags narratives that have lost mindshare relative to baseline. Crossings of these bands by individual lines mark structural transitions in market focus across the four themes.
What to observe
TNH is built for theme rotation analysis. Look at which narrative sits above 50 and which sits below — this maps the on-screen focus distribution. Watch for crossovers : when DeFi crosses above NFT or vice versa, capital allocation between the two themes is shifting. Watch for synchronous moves : when several narratives rise together, broad-based crypto attention is expanding (typically late-cycle). Watch for sustained dispersion : when one theme stays at 60+ while others stay at 40-, capital concentrates on a single narrative.
Historical context
The four-narrative basket captures themes that have dominated different crypto cycles : DeFi led 2020-2021, NFT exploded 2021-2022, Memecoin had waves in 2021 and 2024, and the Solana ecosystem comeback peaked in 2024. Cycle markers visible on the chart help anchor reading against the spot ETF approval, the 4th halving, and the FTX collapse bottom.
Expert notes
⚠️ Trinity Exclusive Model — TNH selects four narratives based on a curation that requires multi-source data coverage for each theme. Two narratives ship with 2-3 attention layers (DeFi, Solana), two with two layers (NFT, Memecoin). The narrative selection itself is the Trinity moat — competitors cannot reproduce this without the same multi-source backfill. Future Sprint 5 may extend coverage to add Restaking, AI, DePIN, RWA, and Smart Contract platforms narratives once additional Wikipedia and search-interest backfills become available for these themes.
Common mistakes to avoid
TNH does not rank narratives by absolute size. The scale is relative to each narrative's own multi-year baseline. A reading of 60 for DeFi means DeFi attention is above its own historical average — it does NOT mean DeFi is bigger than NFT at that moment. Comparing absolute scale across narratives requires looking at the underlying raw pageviews / search interest layers separately. TNH compares relative attention shifts, not absolute scale.
