URPD Δ 180 Days
Change in the UTXO Realized Price Distribution over a 180-day window, per price bucket. The semi-cycle horizon highlights durable shifts in where supply concentrates, beyond shorter-term quarterly churn.
What is it?
Identical in construction to the 90-day view, this version compares the UTXO Realized Price Distribution 180 days apart, bucket by bucket. The semi-cycle horizon highlights durable shifts in supply concentration, beyond quarterly churn.
How to read
Read identically to the 90-day view but over a horizon twice as long: the zero line separates accumulation (green) and distribution (red) per price bucket. Clusters are more stable as they filter out passing quarterly moves.
Key zones
The zero line pivots accumulation/distribution. Over 180 days, persistent clusters mark the structural cost-basis zones of a half-cycle, more significant than 90-day moves.
What to observe
Compare the 180-day snapshot to the 90-day one: if accumulation is confirmed on both horizons at the same level, the support zone is robust. A divergence between the two horizons marks a recent rotation.
Historical context
Semi-cycle windows highlighted the major supply redistributions between cohorts during market transitions, with long-term accumulation building during prolonged bearish phases.
Expert notes
Like the 90-day view, this is a difference snapshot. The 180-day horizon reduces noise but can mask recent fast moves: read as a complement, not a replacement, of the 90-day view.
Common mistakes to avoid
The longer horizon does not make the view more predictive - it makes it more structural. A negative bucket reflects a redistribution, not necessarily a net sale out of the market.
