Trinity exclusive model

This metric is a proprietary Trinity Insights model. Its formula, inputs, weights and parameters are NOT disclosed. The page documents only the output (bounded scale, interpretation zones, historical context). Access to the score and its time series is via the REST API and the MCP server, subject to the required tier.

What is it?

Euphoria Zone is a Trinity-proprietary multi-factor composite score of the Bitcoin cycle state. It aggregates several on-chain valuation and profit-taking indicators, normalizes them on a five-year historical distribution, and outputs a score bounded between 0 and 100. High score (> 75) indicates distributive euphoria zones typical of cycle tops; low score (< 25) indicates deep capitulation zones typical of cycle bottoms.

How to read

Read the score as a cycle-relative barometer: over the five-year window, 0 = most depressed state observed, 100 = most euphoric state observed. Score 25-75 = neutral zone, historical average state. Score > 75 = distributive euphoria zone (top alert). Score < 25 = deep capitulation zone (accumulation indicator). The score is re-sampled daily against its own 5-year rolling distribution.

Key zones

Deep capitulation zone 0-25: institutional accumulation indicator, historically aligned with cycle bottoms. Neutral zone 25-75: historical average state, market in regular cycle. Distributive euphoria zone 75-100: pre-top marker, historically aligned with cycle-top distributions. The score rarely stays at extremes for more than a few weeks.

What to observe

Watch transitions to extremes: a sustained rise toward > 75 over several weeks indicates ongoing final distribution. Conversely, a sustained descent toward < 25 over several weeks indicates structural deep capitulation. Reversals after extremes are historically more significant than the absolute levels themselves - a return from > 75 to the neutral zone often marks the structural top.

Historical context

Euphoria Zone is a Trinity score calibrated to discriminate macro Bitcoin cycle states across all available cycles. Its construction guarantees a balanced cycle-relative distribution and captures extreme phases without saturation. Reading note: the score may display NaNs on the first years of the rolling five-year window - expected behavior for historical series starts.

Expert notes

⚠️ Trinity Exclusive Model - composite cycle-state score distinct from the Trinity Composite Score. The Trinity Composite Score is a tactical multi-rubric global score; Euphoria Zone is strictly specialized on the on-chain cycle state and uses its own five-year cycle-relative normalization. Both indicators are complementary: Trinity Composite provides the macro multi-dimensional read, Euphoria Zone provides the pure on-chain cycle read.

Common mistakes to avoid

A score > 75 does not automatically indicate a top - it indicates a statistical euphoria state relative to the five-year window. The market can stay in the > 75 zone for several weeks before the actual top. Conversely, a score < 25 does not guarantee the bottom - it is a probabilistic indicator that must be confirmed by macro fundamentals and institutional flows.
