EDCD-certified analytics - what does it bring?

Education-Driven Chart Design is Trinity's internal standard that formalizes a reciprocal contract between published education and the rendered chart, and lays the foundation of multi-pass institutional audit.

In brief

Education-Driven Chart Design (EDCD) is a Trinity Insights internal standard that formalizes the contract between published education and rendered chart: what the reader learns from the educational copy must be visible on the chart, and reciprocally. Any educational promise without a matching visual primitive is a violation; any visual primitive without an educational mention is a violation. This discipline complements Trinity Audit Engine (multi-pass validation) and enforces institutional editorial coherence, regardless of tier or access channel (dashboard, MCP, embed).

Which capabilities should the tool offer?

Posture observed across established conventions versus Trinity posture.

CapabilityEstablished conventionsTrinity posture
Reciprocal education ↔ chart contractEducation and rendering often written separately, drift possible. No chart passes validation without education aligned word-to-primitive.
Strictly atemporal educationFixed values or prices in the educational copy, ageing rapidly. No fixed numbers in EDCD education; orders of magnitude are described as historical ranges.
Strict FR / EN parityPartial translation, content asymmetries.Automatic linter enforcing per-chart parity.
AMF-compatible vocabularyFrequent use of terms that may fall under advice.Educational vocabulary, no terms that could be requalified as personalized advice.
Multi-pass Audit EngineInternal audit rarely described publicly.Trinity Audit Engine combines visual validation, educational validation, numerical tolerance validation and multi-pass institutional validation.

Frequently asked questions

What is EDCD?

Education-Driven Chart Design is a Trinity internal standard that requires bidirectional correspondence between education and chart rendering. Any educational promise must have a visual counterpart; any visual primitive must be explained by the education.

What is the difference between EDCD and Trinity Audit Engine?

EDCD is the editorial discipline (writing). Trinity Audit Engine is the multi-pass audit framework (visual, educational, numerical, institutional validation). EDCD is the entry condition; TAE is the exit filter.

Why does the education stay atemporal?

A numerically dated education ages with every cycle. EDCD enforces historical ranges rather than point values so that the education remains valid regardless of when it is read.
