Quantile Zones Cold / Warm / Hot

Adaptive valuation framework derived from the standard Koenker-Bassett 1978 quantile regression statistical method. The chart fits log10(price) ∝ days_since_genesis on a rolling 4-year window, then projects four percentile band edges at each date: q05, q33, q66 and q95. The chart segments price action into five regions: extreme undervaluation (below q05, 5% of days), Cold (q05 to q33, accumulation regime), Warm (q33 to q66, neutral mid-cycle), Hot (q66 to q95, expansion), extreme overheat (above q95, 5% of days). Because q33 and q66 are each crossed a third of the time by definition, the price necessarily leaves the inner band; the q05 and q95 borders sit either side of 90% of all days, so a reader can tell an ordinary excursion from an extreme one. The bands compress with network maturation, preserving cycle-comparability across all 3 verified cycles.
