Quickstart

5 minutes to get started

From account creation to your first Trinity tool call, in six simple steps. All major MCP clients are supported via a single canonical endpoint.

  1. 1Subscribe or activate your tier

On trinityinsights.io, create a free account or sign in. The Free tier gives you access to public charts; a Pro or Performance upgrade unlocks the full library and the Trinity proprietary composites.

  2. 2Generate an MCP API key

Developer console → create a key. Give the key a descriptive name (e.g. claude-desktop-laptop, cursor-personal). Copy the key immediately: it will no longer be displayed in plaintext.

  3. 3Choose your MCP client

Trinity supports Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, ChatGPT, Gemini, Windsurf, VS Code Copilot, Perplexity. Each client has its dedicated installation page /mcp/docs/clients/{client}.

  4. 4Configure the client

Follow the installation guide for your client: canonical endpoint https://mcp.trinityinsights.io/mcp, Streamable HTTP transport, header Authorization: Bearer YOUR_TRINITY_API_KEY.

  5. 5First tool call

In a new conversation, ask: "Fetch the latest MVRV Z-Score value via Trinity Insights". The client calls the get_chart_value tool and returns the value with its atemporal educational context.

  6. 6Activate a curated prompt

Trinity exposes curated bilingual prompts: macro-briefing-at the latest snapshot, compare-cycles, narrative-check, tier-upgrade-recommendation. Mention the prompt by name in the conversation to get a structured multi-tool analysis.
